đŸ¥‡Italian street fishing championship in Adria.

Podium Medalii

After our promise following the Italian championship to boat predators, here we are again on the eve of a new championship.

We start again with the desire to make it, the assumptions were very good since in the past years my partner Daniele Tamborini together with Andrea Venzi and Adam Lumassi, obtained excellent results in the classic competition organized by Street Fishing Italia in that of Adria.

The knowledge of the race course was there, thanks to the history of past races however, we also had a big question, how and where would we be able to catch fish this year?

Justified question since, the first year they won the event by fishing for perch in the most famous place in Italy which, for this competition was kept out.

The second year the solution was the drop shot.

The third year the lethal bait was the crank.

What can I say, this place is constantly changing, and what you seemed to know from one moment to the next was of little use.

As with any major event, you have to give it your all, and in order to be able to do that, here we are two weeks early rehearsing the competition field.

At first glance, given the low visibility within the water, it all looked the same to me except for a few spots where it was tighter or a few areas with more vegetation. Whereupon we set off from the beginning of the race course to "beat water." We view as many places as we can and trigger in rotation everything we had brought with us. After a few casts I hear the first bite which, unfortunately I was not able to finish but, it was a very good sign and the first thought was "I am doing the right thing." Later, in the same spot Daniel managed to finish his, wading a nice specimen of asp, which definitely unlocked the day and from there to come the fun was not lacking.

We were catching a lot of asp and sporadically in the midst of them we also managed to catch some black bass, fish that at that time we did not know would be valuable in the final.

There were only a few of us trying and the low stressed fish reacted on all the baits we threw but, we had a problem...of the perch , there was no sign and taking only the asp, which, ate beyond measure, in many we will have concluded that quota of 6 fish.

We kept pushing but, nothing. The only two perch we had caught were in the one spot not kept good for competition.

On the return trip, we thought long and hard about what to do, and something more we felt we had figured out.

We started the first run in a spot close to the start convinced that we would be able to come out happy with a few catches on our side and so it was, those 2 aspas that entered our wade were just a great start, too bad that for the following two hours of the race, we had not found a fish again. The situation was not the best but, we knew that around lunchtime the asp were going to be active again, within a short time using the bait that made the difference for us (VidraShh soon to be available on the vale-pesca.it and in the stores), we manage to send 3 more aspen catches thus coming up with 5 good-sized fish.

We needed one more to close the quota but, already they were no longer eating.

As we keep moving, changing our fishing approach often, we also manage to catch two perch, and taking advantage of that third window of activity comes the sixth asp.

We thus finish the first trial with 6 aspi and two perca , 2nd in the day's ranking.

Happy with the result, we took a few hours to relax in front of a full glass, together with fishing friends to take our minds off the race for a few hours.

We knew that in the second race everything would be different because, by now the fish had been stung and that race course certainly could not offer us more.

As on the first day we chose a fast start on the aspens, quickly catching two but, as we already knew, in addition to having fewer bites, outside the windows of activity the fish were stationary.

Analyzing the situation, we chose to focus on perch fishing, on the two furthest spots in which we believed in, the beginning and end of the competition field.

The fishing was definitely much slower though, they seemed to be less affected by the water conditions, and the day before we had all spent less time on them.

It had seemed like the right choice, and believing it, we were rewarded with 4 catches that were crucial to getting the result we were looking for.

Luck we can say did not help us this time, but by believing in it without giving up until the end, we became Italian champions of this specialty and are rightfully in the nation team.

We have a difficult season ahead of us, but we will strive to do our best, dressed in blue to honor our homeland on our home turf, in the waters of Mantua.

Now that you've made all your fishing experience available to all anglers (and that can't be quantified) I've finally found a store where I'm on the safe side about the lures I buyDai vale
